I see why Ianto fell for Lucinda! Her parents are idiots though, thinking that they can control her life. No wonder she wanted to get away from them.

Vile really is the only way to describe her parents. They talk to her like she's five. How dare they think they have the right to take her children away from her to raise because they think she's too inexperienced. How much experience does anyone have before their first child is born? Idiots!

I never hated two characters more than I hated Lucinda's parents. I felt dirty after writing them. They think with age comes experience and not from actual experience.

Wow, those two parents are a piece of work! No wonder she wanted to get married quickly. Although it wasn't even that quick--the way they are talking she married Ianto in a matter of days.

I'm glad she got some perspective, although it sure wasn't in the way she planned.

Yup they were a bit old fashioned in their ways. A year was way too quick to get married and they never even bothered to get to know Ianto.

At this point she realised Ianto was the lesser of the two evils and only she could yell at him.
