Yay, Ianto's alive! Not easy to explain that to others though.

Poor Lucinda, what a shock! And Ianto's not really helping, he'd be better off making up plausible lies than annoying his wife by telling her a truth she can't believe. Her last comment hit hard though, the Cybermen are responsible for a lot of Ianto#s nightmares and just that brief mention would have brought back a lot of bad memories.

Thanks.

Yeah, the truth about Torchwood is always hard to swallow for those not in the know.

Oh damn, Ianto's immortal! Could Ava be too?

Ouch, Luce had no idea how she hit a nerve with that last line...

So Ianto didn't know before he drown and then came back that he's immortal? That'd be a hell of a shock. Probably as big as the one he's going to get when he finds out about Ava.

I don't think Lucinda will take the truth very well. And how could her father not like Ianto? He's so damn lovable.

Thanks.

Yup. Ianto was clueless until he drowned. Ianto's stories are hard to swallow if you haven't been around Torchwood

Wow, a lot of powerful stuff going on here. Ianto discovers he's immortal, and instead of being awed he just seems sort of annoyed--which seems very Ianto, somehow.

I get the reasons for the jokes but I can see how it can be annoying to his family. They think he refuses to be serious about anything, and meanwhile he's being deadly serious!

Thanks. Being in Torchwood desensitises you to the bizarre.
