That would be a lot of Retcon, indeed Poor Jack!

Surely if the Doctor can fix it so Ianto isn't dead, he can fix this too!

Maybe when Jack dies his brain fixes itself the way his body does, and he gets his memories back. Or the Doctor does some timey-wimey thing and he never took it at all. Or...

Oops, sorry! For some reason I feel compelled to fix this fix-it. :-p It would make a good premise for a longer piece, actually. I've read several where Ianto comes back/survives/whatever C.O.E. but loses all his memories, but never Jack!

I was being evil when I said Jack never to get his memories back. It would be interesting to have Ianto try to get Jack to fall for him all over again. Imagine amnesia jack finding out about his immortality.

And I'm one of those that did that...well you know Ianto only lost the time between canary wharf and Coe.

Thanks. Yes, very tragic. If Jack had waited a little longer he would have seen his reason for retconing himself was not needed.
