The delicate spider-web on my window is gone now. That beautiful transparent net must have been destroyed by the wind or rain, for it is now gone, and so is the small creature I called a friend

You've not forgotten how to write good vignettes. An extreme close-up on a silent and transient perspective. Makes for good punctuation in any life; the disjointed becomes sensible.
