LOL! How about 3 sentences from the unwritten sequel to your NCIS fic 'There Loomed An Ogre'. I love that fic and I desperately want to know what happens next! ;-)
Hee! Lovely stuff :-) The biggest thing I always wanted to know about the sequel to Ogre is how Tony and Abby resolved things, particularly after she misinterpreted his PTSD reluctance to be touched. Thank you so much!
Tony was heartily sick of it. Gibbs had been in a foul mood ever since he'd returned from his trip to the mall with Abby, and no amount of coaxing, tempting, or downright bribing had made even a dent.
It was obviously the tattoo the other man had an issue with, but Tony couldn't for the life of him work out why, seeing as he'd never had the slightest problem with his other one. Quite the opposite in fact.
No, this had to stop. Time to call him on it. He was going down there, and he was getting to the bottom of this to matter what.
Ok AU - The one where Kelly is alive and has spent years watching her Dad pretend he's not in love with Tony (and vice versa) so she decides to play matchmaker! *g*
Too casual by far. Gibbs lifted his gaze from the wood to meet a deliberately innocent pair of blue eyes.
“Mm-hmmmn?”
“You're not busy Tuesday evening are you?
“Not especially.”
“Great. You are now. Don't make plans!”
Kelly grinned at him once before disappearing from view. Definitely up to something.
It took nearly ten minutes before the nature of the something dawned on him. Tuesday was February 14, and she was going to take his response as permission to do her worst.

Gibbs watched him, the wariness drawn in every line. He shrugged. “What do you think should happen next?”
“You gonna suspend me?”
“I need to?”
This time Tony scowled. “Answer every question with a question? Been taking shrink 101? It doesn't suit you, you know.”
He took a sip of his coffee before answering. “I got more questions than answers.”
“No, you don't need to. My work has been fine.”
“True. But what happens next time I tell you to take some evidence to Abby. Can I rely on you then?”
He was careful to watch as he spoke. Emotions chased each other past. Pain. Guilt. Horror.
Last of those was unexpected.
“Tell you what, I'll cut you a deal.”
