In Ko Pha Ngan, waiting for a ferry

I changed my plans after talking to travellers and losing a couple of days in Bangkok and Penang - going to a beach resort off the east coast instead of the west coast. Also, after failing to find anyone, traveller or local, who thought it was currently dangerous, I went through the province of Songkhia that holds the main transport hub through which the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office advises against unecessary travel. (There are terrorists. Sorry, must go catch ferry ...)




I refused to go on a motorcycle taxi, though. Let's not tempt fate.
