New year update.
Man...2007.
So far it's been good times. I'm in Los Angeles right now, and will be until Saturday. This has been the longest I've been off of work since I was 17.
New Years Eve we saw The Flaming Lips and Gnarls Barkley at the USC Galen Center, seriously one of the best shows I've ever been to. A space ship, a giant bubble, santa claus, aliens, and a bass player with gigantic hands.
Before the show I got really toasted, so of course when I saw Adam Goldberg and Christina Ricci in front of us I had to go up and introduce myself. I really don't remember what I said, but I'm sure it was really ridiculous.
A couple of nights later we went and saw The Nightmare Before Christmas in 3D at this bad ass theater that had an organ player perform before the movie. The next feature they're doing is a Mary Poppins singalong, which would be hilarious.
This past Saturday we saw My Morning Jacket at the Wiltern. They were a bit long winded for my taste, but extremely good. The Wiltern is huge...I had no idea My Morning Jacket could draw that big of a crowd.
I guess that's it. I'm really stressed out about school, moving, and finding/starting a new job. I think I'm going to die. Oh...and I got some sweet new shoes.
