This is great. I'd be interested in reading more about the mythology of these 8 elements and their influences on your day to day practice/worldview.

Thinking about your inquiry, I suspect that the three new elements will resonate with the three Paths of the Craft in the ContraryWise system, based on the colors I associated with them:

The Paths of the Craft:
* black path of wisdom: dark; moonwise/left-hand; solitary working; immanent divinity
* red path of power: vivid; dynamic tension; networking; multiple divinities
* white path of love: light; sunwise/right-hand; group working; transcendent divinity

I've always preferred the term "essence" to "spirit", so the fifth call is the "spirit" element. It's the addition of the last three elements that are new.

That is, the first five calls are the traditional five elements, but the last three are three new elements.
