Aimee with all of us♥
I had an i-VIPajama Party on the 5th (Sept. 5, 2008) which included Monica (mon5482/imont0p), Jeri7yn (the7REAL.), Winnie (itswinniechu), Diffa and Justine (tinstarr) but I couldn’t have too many girls over due to lack of ‘bedspace’, so the two youngins (Yvonne aka vi3tibaby90) & Tammy aka lilmisstammy) had to stay with Amy (yma818) along with Tiffany (t. yama) and so we drove to Garden Grove to drop them off. After that, we headed back to my area and stopped by Walgreens to buy cards for Aimee Lee/Lucas and Big Bang. There were too many variations, but none seemed to fit. We ended up looking again and we ended up buying this gold card that I randomly picked and Jeri7yn’s pick for Aimee’s card was the winner. FYI, the BB card is a sound card. It plays “You’re Simply The Best” when you open it LMAO We headed back to my house and I believe we slept at around 4-ish.
We picked up Mitchy (mitchybits) and had lunch at Koreatown Plaza and then we headed to North Hollywood to meet up with Aimee at a yogurt place called Ce Fiore. We couldn't figure out what to write on the card and I was picked to write on it and a light bulb just popped in my head and started writing on the card for Big Bang and even the one for Aimee! I couldn't write on the Big Bang card because I was really nervous, so I put it aside and just tried to calm myself down until we make a full stop somewhere. We arrived early and while waiting for her, I had to write on the card (Big Bang). My hands were shaking and it turned out ugly =*( We kept staring at the window/door to see if she’s coming and when she finally did, I wasn’t even paying attention to the door until I heard her say “HIIIIIIII!!!” She must’ve been surprised by the number of girls that welcomed her and HMG, she’s beautiful in person! I swear, her presence was just…wow. We were shy to ask questions at first, so she started telling stories about working with the boys/Tae Yang. When she talked about YB and said “Tae Yang…GREAT, GREAT personality”, I SQUEALED!!! Yes, I did. SHAMELESSLY.
She talked about the boys and how her experience was and to make it easier for me to tell this part, I’ll just do it in the chant order.
GD: BEST English speaker out of the 5. Yes, this totally fucking shocked us, okay, ma hurt… Aimee said that if you talk to him on a certain speed, HE WILL UNDERSTAND YOU AND RESPOND TO YOU. We were all ”WHAAAAT?!” “HUH?” "MA HURT?" She also said that it might not sound like it, but he converses differently. He has many ideas for the group or how I termed it as “vision.” I was in awe with Besto when Aimee said that he was really sick when they first met. Dancers were taking care of him and as soon as it was time to rehearse, he got up like it was nothing. He even busted out with ”Let’s do three more and then let’s go home.” KWON FRACKING LEADAH… This totally made me think of the dance battle they had and Hotnae was injured. He had to fill in for him + he had to do the dance with YB a few times due to technical difficulty. Aimee also said that she’s impressed by his weird fashion - aren’t we all? Hence, BEATBOX FASHION STYLING =)
YB - Man… she said that when Shaun showed her a picture of him, she said “Oh, he’s cute.” TEAM YB were smiling and smiled harder when she said, “When I saw him in person, I said oh he IS cute!” I kept mhmm-ing LOL Yes, he’s shy and has a great personality. Likes to laugh and smile. Oh, he carries a translator with him and always asks about pronunciation. He nods a lot (attentive!) and yes, a TRUE PERFORMER. Aimee told us a story during his concert rehearsal. She was backstage stretching while watching the monitor. I think YB was rehearsing “Prayer” and he was supposed to get off this bar that’s pretty high and when he let go, Aimee heard this BANG! She saw YB drop as if he just landed on pillows and brushed it off. 0_0 Y’all have seen the “Sinners” performance, right? The story behind it is quite funny because she said that it took YB till the day of the concert to get it 100% with all the touching and direct eye contact + Aimee told us that she and Shaun made up the routine in their dining table. OKAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! (YB specifically asked for sexy by the way… ) Aimee talked about the Shaun/YB working relationship and how bonded they are. Whatever Shaun envisions, YB makes it happen. There was even a time when Shaun was so frustrated at the dancers because they were being lazy and not paying attention, so he was yelling. Apparently, those dancers believe in “seniority” and that they think they don’t have to listen to anyone because they’ve ‘been there’. Did YB take his dancers’ side? No, he took Shaun’s because he agrees that they shouldn’t slack and that it’s their job to dance. Shaun wants to work with YB solely when he branches out here in the U.S. These two got plans, eh? Oh I have to add that it was so funny how Aimee just blurted out “HE’S RIPPED.” *fangirl boner*
TOP - Aimee said that TOP is this tall and very goofy person. (Yes, he acts like his shoe size LMAO) He’s all hardcore when he’s rapping but turns a 360° and gets silly after! She also mentioned that he’s not the best dancer and that he’s a step/half a step late + he’s the most difficult to teach =X Anyways, she told us a cute story about him backstage at YB’s concert. The boys were backstage and they had a bag of persimmons. TOP took one out and started taunting the boys as if his persimmon is better than everyone else’s LOL
Daesung - As predicted, he is in his own world, so he’s on the quiet side. Aimee talked a bit about how impressed she is by his voice and that he can dance.
Seung-ri - ANXIOUS. She said that he always wants to learn everything. He’d always ask “Are you gonna call me or I’ll call you?” “Can you send me a video?” She also shared that our Hotnae wants to do a solo project and Mr. YG is planning something after their group stuff is quite done.

- The boys never seem to get tired of each other ♥♥♥♥♥
- YB is the best dancer, GD ranks second and Hotnae is a bronze medalist.
- Jinu books their (Shaun & Aimee) flight.
- Mr. YG = P. Diddy; everyone shuts the fuck up and bows down when he’s in the room.
- Teddy wears the most expensive clothes from head to toe.
- Kush is the class clown.
- Danny is always around to translate, smokes a lot and can grind on the floor like a snake. The male dancers couldn’t really hump the floor and who demonstrated? Yes indeed..it’s Mr. Im *fangirl boner* Aimee did another random “HE’S RIPPED” + she mentioned something about Danny recording a song.
- CL wants to be like GD - producer, songwriter, etc. and she always wants the nam-pyeon’s 6-pack, so she does the same training/discipline as him.
- Aimee met Sandara (she pronounces it as Sandra) and Sandy was talking to her in Tagalog LOL She told Sandy that she doesn’t speak the language, so Sandy boasted that she’s better than her LMAO
- Danny LOVES the candy Hi-Chew. It’s actually an inside joke between Aimee and Danny LOL
- The choreography for “Haru Haru” was originally a chair dance routine.
- Aimee googled one day and randomly found the BB Korean wordpress page. If you read Shaun’s blog about how he’s in awe with Uhm Jung Hwa’s energy, Aimee talked about her the same way. She just has this..aura.
- One night, they went clubbing and UJH was really happy that finally, someone’s going to drink with her because no one drinks with UJH…lol
- Ever wondered why UJH wears that short wig during the “D.I.S.C.O.” performances? It’s because she fell in like with Aimee’s short hair and she specifically asked for a short wig. Aimee unknowingly started a trend in Korea (Diffa pointed it out) and she was really shocked to find out!
- Shaun always wants Aimee to work with the girls.
- Aimee mentioned how tight the costume was for YB’s concert and that they give it to you the day you’ll perform x_x
- Our boys will have a new MV that’ll be choreographed by Shaun and Aimee’s in high hopes to be in it (so are we!)
- Aimee was a ballerina for 12-14 years.
- Everything that she knows, Shaun taught her.
- Speaking of GEN2, Monica brought up the fact that it was I who told the fantastic world of VIPs/i-VIPs about Shaun and his collabo with Big Bang. I actually admitted that I was stalking Shaun’s page that night and as soon as I found out, I couldn’t sleep and that’s why I posted on soompi LMAO Jeri7yn and Justine also added that I’ve been showing them videos of Shaun waaaaaaaaaaay even before him working with the boys.
- I told her about how I’ve been a fan of GEN2/The Company since ’05 (I even said I LOOOOVE GEORGE) and she was surprised…
- Even more when we told her that we’ve built friendships through Big Bang’s music and the girls would come down here to hang out with us (Amy, Tiff and I) or when there’s something going on.
- She kept saying “you guys are a-ma-zing” when we told her about how the Big Bang fans voted non-stop for Shaun on that Sears commercial.
We mentioned the star kits (YGBB project) that we got for the boys and she just kept saying how great we are as if we performed series of magic tricks for her =P We handed her the card for her and one for Big Bang. We took pictures and videos after.
