so here i am at the library in buffalo again. i hate this fucking library, but its like thirty degrees outside, and being in the van sucks right now. also, rachael is at work, so i'm bumming it alone.
and i have a crush on a librarian here. big time.

this is kind of cool:
they are trying to build a casino in buffalo, in order to "revitalize downtown." now, the whole of buffalo is up at arms about this. now, all of the progressive kids that we have been meeting are way opposed to this, because it will fuck up downtown, make buffalo a tourist town, etc. i can see that. and buffalo is such a cool town.
so, there is this guy who owns a used bookstore in allentown who is staging a mock-casino as a protest. it is like one big performance piece, with a cabaret and everything. it is so exciting. all of the games are like spoofing real casino games, like a roulette wheel of vices, and shit. it is so funny. anyway, to make a long story short, the guy (the owner of the bookstore) has been giving us food and wine every night in exchange for our help constructing this casino. it has been so much fun, and we have met a bunch of awesome kids. how strange that cool experiences have just kept presenting themselves to us. it's been great. that's all for now.
