I just can't leave Portland
I am sitting in the PDX airport about to take my flight back to the nether regions of Iowa, when they offered anyone with flexiable travel plans to give up their seats for a free round trip ticket anywhere in the lower 48. My choices where, to arrive in iowa tonight at 11:30, sleep till 1 and come into the lab, or arrive in iowa tomorrow afternoon at 1, be in the lab by 2, and come away with a free round trip ticket. So, there we go, and it means i will be back in portland in a little under a month for a free ticket to see Music Fest NW, and all that entails (such as Brian Jonestown Massacre, Heliosequence, The Thermals, etc etc etc.) So really, if you count the wedding in seatle at the end of september, i'll have been in the north west 3 times in 2 months. It's like i live here and just commute to Iowa or something. You make it so hard Portland.
