Sometimes stress inspires creativity.

So from my last post, you could probably tell I was a bit stressed. Since then things have been going much better. All the hard work from last week paid off in a great live Hardcore Saves the World set! I had a great time, and I feel it was one of the better shows we have done in a while. I feel that the good vibes from that show are making  me feel very positive about the upcoming show. Pics from Fri night courtesy of Envy.

Envy is an amazing photographer, one of the best at capturing the feel of being at a party. She not only documents a night out, but creates very unique images. She is a part of tiggerlovesyou.

The other thing that really makes me feel good is finding the time to write something new, one of my first new tracks of the year. On Sat a good friend came over and showed me an interesting acapella, from a band called The Age of Rockets. The song "Aveda Kedavera" feels much like the Postal Service, and immediately ideas started running through my mind. I spent some time Monday working on a remix, and by tonight I have a version of it that I would feel happy to test out live. After sending a demo to the guys at Mad Panik they have already expressed an interest in putting it out! Hopefully the original artists will be willing to work with us on this as I am very proud of this one so far.
