Since I go to work from San Mateo every Monday, every work week starts with an FX ride. And what a great way to start this week - an FX ride with a high school batch mate and childhood friend Cocoy Carpio. One of the cutest guys in our batch, he's now a banker with Standard & Chartered. Lucky me because he didnt bring his car to the office this particular Monday. So we shared thoughts on our careers -- future growth, MBAs, bosses, work environment, the economy and how it affects our industries, etc. (as I squeezed myself between the fat lady beside me and the FX side door). And what I gained from that conversation? Confidence. I dont know how or why but it really boosted my morale this morning. So, my Monday morning emails are all done and I have a positive attitude on my updates (which I've always disliked doing since 5 years ago but did anyway knowing its importance on project management (like taking medicine)).
Pop Quiz for Agency friends -- who is this senior, respected Accounts guy (whom I adore) who also hates doing updates ever since he was an AE? Siya na yun. Love you ----!
