Clad in a jade green half-zip sweater for warmth, Ian sat beneath a large tree in the middle of the afternoon. The sun helped warm his skin as the cool wind blew. A book lay open in his lap, but his attention was taken by a few birds flying overhead, his hand shading his eyes from the bright rays. He didn't hear someone approach him.

She had been running along the shore of the lake when she saw a very familiar green figure out of the corner of her eye. She bit her bottom lip cautiously as she bent down to fix a shoe lace. It certainly looked like him alright.
She couldn't help but stare, although she was particularly close to him.

"A photo might last longer" he said with a bit of irritation in his voice.

"I'm sorry, I thought you were.." she looked down at the boy, not knowing his name. "I thought you were someone I used to be close with."
