I use the chamber a lot, because that seemed to be their response in the show whenever somebody was more than mildly injured, and I… injure them a lot. Dinobot didn't actually tear him up that badly. It looked worse than it was, he passed out mostly because he was exhausted (he's been sleep-deprived for days), and Rhinox flipped out. So it sounds like more of an emergency than it actually was.

This is what happens when controllers lose control. He took on the responsibility of looking out for a masochistic trouble magnet. What did he expect, that his life would be easy?

Hm, gonna have to disagree with you on that. Rattrap doesn't deserve it, and it won't do any good either. He's been smacked around all his life and it hasn't stopped him from being… Rattrap. Quite honestly, if your friends don't want you interfering in their loves lives and trying to treat them like children, slamming them against the wall is not an appropriate response. Rhinox of all people should know better than to rise to the bait by now.

That said, Rattrap is an idiot. Not denying that for a second.

I… don't think he actually believed his life was in any danger. He trusts Dinobot, and he didn't seriously think the Predacon would kill him, no matter how wild it got. Whether that just makes him more stupid, or indicates just how much trust has developed between the two, is debatable. Anyway, "I'd die happy" was just a smartass response. Again, he knows how to bait people.

You really want him to finish that thought? …You'll have to wait for a later chapter, then. He managed to avert it this time.

Monkeys are scary. Like, holy shit. You ever seen them mob a predator? O_O Vervets have got those big scary canine teeth, too.

To be fair, Rattrap's not the only one who's thought of strapping a beacon on Dinobot, or hanging a bell around his neck or something. Primal's been tempted to on more than one occasion. Do you know how rarely he answers his comm?

That is how predators eat. It's only disgusting if you're not a predator. Rattrap can eat just about anything, including things that aren't edible to organics by any stretch, but he draws the line at food that's still moving. Or staring up at him accusingly.

No, they can't get sick from garbage… though they get nasty side effects from processing some chemicals. It's more that Rattrap's unusual in that he prefers unusual and disturbing foods. For the longest time, I swear, he thought soap was an Earth delicacy. (Since he found out what it's actually used for, he's not as fond of it anymore.)

Everyone seems to like that line. Then again, Dinobot is awesome.

Rattrap's really making an effort at redemption here. Dinobot must mean a hell of a lot to him, because I don't think he's ever put this much of himself into anything.

Ohhh, it gets so much worse. Yesss.
