I looked up the meaning of 'morass'. Some time ago I asked you about a very muddy road and how people traveled by truck or car through the mud and I think you said something about putting trees in the morass...or am I wrong?
So a morass is a swamp or marsh. And the trees you have posted today are in a morass? Now I understand.
I also have photos of a swamp close to the Air Force Base not far from me which you found on Google Earth. I should post them.
Marsh and swamp are basically the same thing. They are wetlands and have water standing when it rains. The land is low lying but trees grow in the swamp but generally die from too much water when the Spring rains are heavy and they stand in deep water for weeks.

Here is a link to Okefenokee Swamp and Park. It is where the big forest fires were in Georgia and part of Florida. It is still burning due to the peat layer below and lack of rain.
There is also the Florida Everglades but people can put hydro-planes that just skim the surface of the water and travel. Alligators and poisonous snakes are a problem.
The Everglades and Okefenokee Swamp are the two largest wetlands in the U.S. wolfma can tell you more since she has friends down near Waycross which is less than 10 miles from the fires in Okefenokee.
Corduroy is a fabric which isn't used much anymore. It used to be very popular to make pants for men and women. It is rather heavy and only worn in the Autum through Spring. It has raised lines in it and is rather warm. Then people began wearing jeans all the time and corduroy is rarely seen anymore.
it sounds like 'velvet' to me ;) such jeans were very popular here anyway i can smell some faint similarity with the subject there're places of wood cutting there they covered acres of land with logs to make flat solid surface to work
