What do you see in store for the band in the next couple of years? God... I just want to play. As I've said, by December I wanted to have a catalog of at least 10 songs and be playing live at least twice a month. Fuck that idea. By AUGUST, I want to have a catalog of at least 15-20 songs and be playing live at least twice a month. I see what we're doing and where we're heading, and I know that we can do it.
Do you feel that finals are a necessary evil or do you think it's too much? Being an English Major, I'm mixed. For example. This semester, I had four classes. In two of them, presentations or showing up on the final exam date was my final, and well, although it's nice to do a whole "lets all have food and talk about our writings," if I can do something else like sleep, I'd rather do that. The other two classes had in-class essay finals, which I can understand. So it's a mixed bag. In a workshop or heavily writing based class, portfolios are all that should be required, but in something that's more literature based, well, I can fully justify a final.
What were your reasons for the temporary closing of the UCF Community? I'll reveal those when I re-open it.
