Roberts, 41, is a former Australian Rugby player who came out of the closet and was then seen as the face of gay sports and continues to make appearances and speaking engagements to help promote the gay and lesbian viewpoint and public relations. He retired from rugby in 1998.
Currently, Ian Roberts is concentrating on building his acting career. He appeared in last year’s "Superman Returns" as one of Lex Luthor’s henchmen.
