OOC: getting to be that time
Time for your second room 8 bit of fodder to make his merry way.
I would lovelovelove for his exit thinger to happen July 7th. It's a number thing. The thing I'm working on, well, working out is how.
So. Right. Nny is psychotic, like, full on, just about, now, just in case you had not noticed. He's downright anti-social and misanthropic, and ready to fly off the handle in a way that only the title character of a comic called Johnny the Homicidal Maniac can.
Here's what I have in mind, and any feedback/volunteers would be delightful.
July 5th: Nny offs his first victim. No volunteers on this, I already know who I want. Through the power of the canonical force that prevents him from being caught by the police despite his very PUBLIC homicides in the book, he won't get caught for this, but any speculation/investigation is welcome to happen, anyway. (Looking at you, Sheriff. However you'd prefer to handle the investigation end, as long as Nny isn't nailed as the culprit before he leaves, I'm cool with it)
July 6th: Nny goes on a date. I can use Nadia for this IF NECESSARY, but I'd much rather get others involved, yeah? So I'm looking for a girl character who might be interested in dating a weird, gothicly oriented, overly philosophical, rail-thin artist boy. Student or villager would be just fine. Mad fighting skills aren't necessary, but a character with them is just fine, too. Following one of the story lines in the canon, this is what I'm thinking:
The date goes well. Really, really well. Both Nny and the datee are happy with how things are going, and they make it back to his place (room 8 in the Main Dorms). It's going so well, in fact, that it breaks Nny's heart to think that this, too, will eventually end, probably in heartbreak and sadness. That is, to him, an inevitability, and something he doesn't want. So, naturally, he'll decide to kill the datee.
Ah, but I need a datee who will fight back, tooth and nail. Massive headwounds are great. Mega-bonus if it involves a gun shot to the head, see, and the datee makes her escape, leaving Nny slowly dying on his dorm room floor. This should happen late into the evening, technically on July 7th. Preplay is certainly possible if someone really, really wants in on this role but won't be that available.
July 7th: Nny is all dying like on the floor. And, well, see. Nny is the one that's been keeping the mysterious thing behind the wall of his room from getting free. As goes his life, so goes his ability to do so. The entire room (though NOT necessarily the entire Main Dorms, that's up to consent from the rest of the house's residents) starts to shake. Horrible noises come from the wall. It sounds like, like it might be a moose or something, on the other side, there.
Then, hopefully while people are in the room trying to figure out what's going on, the thing gets free.
Fun fact? It's not a moose.
Those who might be in the room investigating get out alive (only injured by the Not-a-Moose if'n they wanna be). Nny . . . not so much. Yeah, he gets dead. Dead, dead, dead. Even should the people investigating get him out of the room. Slam the door shut, the door shakes, rattles, and rolls all about, like something inside is trying to get out, like the whole WORLD might be falling apart in there, and then . . . it just stops.
If they open the door? They'll find a normal dorm room, albeit with weird Nny-art on the walls. No trace of any Not-a-Moose in sight.
Nor any trace of Nny.
Now, if there's gun shots involved with the date thing, then I'm thinking the investigation would probably happen late night July 6th/early morning July 7th. Any investigation of the room and its contents (or of the wall) will reveal nothing weird, at all. Not even Nailbunny or the doughboys. I'd be perfectly willing to explain things OOCly, but ICly, no one will ever quite know what exactly happened or how. As for Nny?
He'll spend the day/weekend (have not decided which, just yet) in Heaven and Hell, as per canon. Then he'll be back (with an odd new haircut), but only long enough to gather his things and make a beat out of town.
And just like that? He's gone. My guess is, you'll never hear from him again.
And we'll be on to our next little fodder.
To sum up, I'm looking for someone to date Nny, and someones (a small group, maybe three, maybe as many as five or six) to try and check out the room. Anyone else is welcome to jump in with investigating the July 5th victim or with interacting with the datee/room checkers after the fact, or be creeped at by Nny when he returns the 8th or 9th.
