This month's challenge at picspammy is about tropes, and I've wanted to make a picspam about The Middleman for the longest time so here it is. Spoilers if you plan to see the show (please dooo).

Wendy and Lacey are best friends, artists and they both share the same illegal sublet (amazing loft). They have their share of problems, mainly due to Wendy's job being a secret, but they always make up in the end.

Fatboy Industries. It comes out as important later in the series, but in the earlier episodes you can see Fatboy icecream and Fatboy apple wine (and maybe more that I haven't noticed). They're also the company behind the uMaster. And who else to be their founder/CEO than tv's Mark Sheppard? I included the last cap because Brendan Hines is hot /shallow.

Other tropes found in The Middleman: Funny Background Event (Wendy fighting the Peruvian Flying Pike), Cool Car (The MiddleMobile 2), The Chew Toy (Interrodroids always get destroyed), Living Forever Is Awesome (Cecil Rhodes survived the sinking of the Titanic and is cursed), Artifact of Doom (the tuba is cursed and whoever hears it play drowns in the icy waters of the North Atlantic), Freaky Friday Flip (a mad scientist swaps minds with MM), Demonic Dummy (Vladdy is Vlad the Impaler's favourite puppet), Decontamination Chamber (MM and Dubbie are contaminated with a Clotharian virus) and Eyepatch of Power (MM in the alternate universe has one because Sensei Ping had plucked his eye out).
