Aside from that, I have no desire for fools to branch off into two areas when one is easier to defend. I cannot be re-infected am I to be bitten or the like. I know the RPD better than most here, and I am more than capable of ensuring it remains unharmed and therefore Chris remains at Shin-Ra.

Let us consider what might happen if it were destroyed. There is the possibility it could release the good me but there is also the very real chance that such could unleash the evil Chris Redfield who was my loyal sidekick until he could displace me.

I doubt you would be smart enough to stay at Shin-Ra if Chris demanded to stay at the station. Same for Elena, the Task Force, and all the others.

Were Chris to die, he would lose a memory, and while I would be amused at him being unable to recall who you are, it could affect his ability to recall me.
