I would hope not, Doctor Kurama. It is most disturbing to be able to hear and feel everything and yet be unable to move. An hour feels like an eternity, especially if a roach is crawling across your skin.

I take it you are well? No difficulties?

Those were not apparitions but real creatures. Have a care with them. They were looking to kidnap something or someone.

They are not exactly monsters or creatures either. Their corpses are no longer where I slew them.

I noticed that myself. Odd that. I have no idea if they merely fell apart or were taken elsewhere. I had planned on dissecting one later to learn more.

Kurama, I take it things are well with you then? Avoiding those presents and eggs?

I was fighting some of the creatures when a neighbor received a gift, instantly they gained ears and a tail. It was not difficult to imagine such mysterious packages were the source.

But I admit a part of me wonders how it would feel to be cursed in such a way.

I clearly remember both times picking up one of the strange objects. Someone or the gods are doing this.
