This evening I finished the Bhagavad-Gita, hung out with the Tankers I do not see nearly enough, and found a card taped into a notebook in Tank's lounge. The front of the card had a picture of a pig in a carpentry kind of contraption, and the printed interior read "If you're happy and you know it, clamp your ham!" but the inside was far more interesting.

Today...
Visions of productivity... danced
in my head while coffee jitters
brought my mind long neglected
memories tucked into nooks & crannies
innumerable.
Days like this define who I am.
For whatever good that does. For
whatever purpose self definition
serves.
I am different than I was
before. More less clearly defined
than ever. More grey. What type
of definition is that? Definition
by inclusion, and not exclusion---
That's what it is. I value this

highly. Anyone can say what
they're not. I think we should
all just "be" more. Worry less about
NOT BEING.
Don't be poor because you're not
rich. Be alive instead.
Don't be happy because you're
not sad. Be happy because you can't
help it.
You know? Somehow, I'm sure
you do. :)
Love,
Liza.
