hola! long time, eh?
i've been busy and there hasn't been much to say, so... *shrug*
but now i've got stuff to say! yay!
first: i have made a goal and announced it to my parents--to be out of the house and in my own apartment by the end of january 2007.

i've already started looking online and when it gets a bit closer (like in the fall), i'll start going to the apartments to look around.
so that's very yay.
and then... I GOT A NEW CAR.
2007 hyundai accent two-door hatchback in apple green and it is adorable.
it is a stick-shift, but i'm used to driving sticks and actually, i'm not that comfortable with automatics anymore.. ^_^;;
but i discovered something last night.
my wonderful, beautiful NEW car--has no reverse gear.
yes, ladies and gents you hear/read correctly:
there is no reverse gear. michael and i both spent nearly an hour last night in the parking garage of north star mall trying to get the damn thing into gear so that we could leave. (my driveway at home is inclined, so it wasn't an issue before, btw). finally, we just put it in neutral and he pushed it out of the spot so that i could just drive off.

so i got home and this morning i got my mom to go out there and try it for herself.
nope. nada. nothing.

so i'm taking it in tomorrow back to the dealership to kick some SERIOUS ass and get them to fix it or tell me the magic words or whatever it takes to get my damn car into reverse.
