Sinful Colors Cool Gray / Greys Comparison

I am still working on the A31DC, don't worry! This is a brief snippet. I painted my nails grey this week intending for it to be the base of some nail art that didn't pan out. I used Sinful Colors Cool Gray for the first time, and I thought I might as well show it off anyway, and since the 31 challenge's colors section/week has no grey (or pink, or brown ...).

This is without a topcoat and with two days' wear, to explain the imprinty thumb and tip wear. I found I didn't get imprinting except on my one thumb, for some odd reason, because the polish was pretty well set in a half hour. I'd have added one just for longevity if I hadn't intended to put something else over it, but frankly it didn't chip right away and only on the tips, and the finish was pretty good. Sinful Colors is a great fast-drying two-coater that you don't necessarily need a topcoat on, and it's oh so smooth. It's your best basic grey for the price IMO at $2. A-

Greys Comparison Wheel
I thought I'd take this opportunity to show you my current greys (and off-whites) comparison wheel. It's easy to think all basic greys are basic greys, but I haven't yet found a dupe in the whole bunch!

Starting at the left: Covergirl Snowstorm (for comparison to a pure white) Essence Grey-t to Be Here (with slight pink shimmer); OPI Skull and Glossbones; OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (tannest); Pure Ice Kiss Me Here; Covergirl Non-Stop Stone; Confetti Lonesome Dove; Sinful colors Cool Gray; China Glaze Sea Spray (more a dusty blue); China Glaze Immortal (with green and blue shimmer); Orly Decoded; Nails Inc Leather Effect Old Compton Street.
