Rainy days are here again
I've been commenting that it is so weird that there hasn't been much rain this December, it is a VERY late monsoon season in Singapore this year.
And when the rain poured down in torrents on Christmas day, I just knew that wet and rainy days are here to stay. And it has been raining every day since then. Maybe the Higher Beings upstairs are sad he's away too. *smiles wistfully*
I was so tired after the long-but-nothing-to-do weekend and that so sapped me of energy. I fell asleep on the bus ride home after work and woke up 3 stops before mine only to see the bus being pelted by torrential rain.
I walked home in the rain like a drowned rat in a pretty floral dress and ruined my new mng suede shoes.
But I loved it.
Reached home, had a hot bath and am sipping a hot cuppa tea now.
