Flip flops

So since when has it been cool to wear flip flops? I mean I know like everybody does, but since when?? I remember in 8th grade all I wore was Doc Marten sandals and then throughout high school it was flip flops. Then all of a sudden everyone wears flip flops?? I hate trends. Like I love fads because they're soooo momentary, but trends like last too long, until everyone is the same and they all suck and it's all cool and shiny and new. Blah.

Bored. Someone help me find a job. I missed a phone interview today because my mom said she would wake me up at 5.45 so I could have her van, and she didn't. So there.
