Sculpture and Winter Blahs

My hands make spanakopita pastry look succulent and moist. Plaster/clay sucks ALL the moistchah out. Ridiculous.

I am going to make a documentary about our first year class. What characters. We will have to capture Kaisa's boisterous laugh, Emily TB's dressy fashion sense, Emily Turner's pioneering/sheep farming ambitions, Jack's amazing one liners ("I like the morning...I think less people die in the morning"), Torie's swordfish hybrid, Dera's unfiltered remarks and much much more.

Very nice.

Introspective moment:

I'm ready for summer. Summer is my month, when the world seems to take on a cheery warm disposition, love rampages, and everything is full of life. I'm ready for the warm sun on my back, I'm ready for the green leaves and the beach and dipping my toes in the ocean without them falling off. I'm ready to close up at Starbucks and walk home in the dying light. I'm ready to eat Salade Nicoise with Mom and Dad on the back porch while Dad stalks raccoons with the garden hose. I'm ready to finish working and go home with nothing hanging over my head. I'm ready to dance in the rain in my bare feet and watch my favourite white skirt settles airily around my ankles when I sit on the grass to read for a while. I'm ready to thaw.
