So in my acting class we took this bitch of an exam, and I studied like mad for it.
The highest grade in the class was an 84% and I got a 74%.
I was pretty pissed off.
So then I went through my exam, and I couldn't get the figures to work out.
It seemed as if he hadn't counted twenty points that I scored.
So in my exit interview with him this morning, I asked him about it,
and he recalculated and found that I was correct,
so I got an 84% on it,
which brought my final grade in the class up to a straight A!
I also got a straight A for my voice jury.
Don't know about the rest of my grades yet.

I also had another interesting acting encounter today. I felt like a bonefide desperate actress, which was awesome.
We're doing Twelfth Night next semester, and I went to sign up for an audition, but all the slots were filled.
I asked my prof about it in my exit interview, but he wasn't sure what the policy for this show would be.
Then near the end of my interview, Murray said, "Did you see that man behind you?"
I turned around and saw someone's heel disappear.
Murray said, "run after him. He's the one to ask about Twelfth Night auditions. Go."
So I jumped up, shouted bye and thanks, and ran after this man.
It was the sort of thing, where I kept following him around corners, only to see him quickly disappear around another (mind you I'm running) but I finally caught up to him in the stairwell, after sprinting through all of the theatre offices. He told me I could still write my name down, and I should show up in the beginning, and he would try to work me in when people didn't show up. I felt accomplished.
