And we've hit Fandom Wank. Well not quite, but close enough.
In case you couldn't tell, the dw_anon meme stumbles on, and the shit hit the proverbial fan at about page 14. Siriusly, DW fen... are you all in junior high? I have never seen this kind of behavior from supposed grown adults in all my fandom life, and I'm in the HP fandom. For a while I was laughing my ass off at the thought of grown adult women sitting at a keyboard typing stuff like ZOMG XXXXX IS SUCH A DESPERATE WANNABE! YYYYYY IS A GROTSKY BIYATCH! ZZZZZZZ IS A FAT VIRGIN! (still half-true). And then it stopped being funny and started being just sad.
So for those of you who have not read the meme (or at least skimmed it, b/c who really wants to wade through all that shit), I've made a handy graphic that pretty much sums it all up. Sorry for the craptastic photoshop job, but I don't have my scanner now and couldn't draw it. Anyway...
If you have not seen the movie Mean Girls, you probably won't get it. It might still be funny, though.
