1. The first character I first fell in love with: OK, this sentence is slightly redundant, but Harry.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Hermione. She really annoyed me at first but now I'm approaching Cordelia Chase-esque levels of love. And those of you familiar with my Cordy love, that's high praise.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Ron. That guy gets on my last nerve on a regular basis. I spent most of HBP wanting to smack the crap out of him and then wanting to smack the crap out of Hermione for not getting over the immature little twit. Sorry, Ron fans. But the meme asked; I answered.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Draco. Yes, I know, how can I dislike Ron and like this little snot? I wrote a whole essay about it earlier on this LJ. I like deeply flawed characters. I often seem to love characters written to be hated. I have no idea why I do this.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Ron. I liked him in the first few books and then it all just went downhill.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Sirius Black. He just appeals to me... there's just this raw and masculine and sexy energy about him.

I love the way she just said what everyone was thinking, and was totally blunt about being shallow and snarky. With Cordy, what you see is what you get.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Angel. I really didn't care for him much at all in S1-3 of Buffy, but he grew on me when he moved to his own show.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Willow. This is actually more the fandom than the character, but the way fans Sue her up and make her the guy everyone loves is just bzuh?-inducing on many levels.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Cordy. I don't know WTF everyone's problem with this character is. Beloved characters like Willow and Buffy are allowed to be passive-aggressive and have superiority complexes, but Cordy is a bitch because she's actually honest about it? I can't for the life of me get where all the skank accusations come from, either. There is no canonical evidence that Cordy was promiscuous. She didn't sleep with Xander, with whom she was in a relationship for a long time... so what, she's whoring it up with other guys she doesn't care about? Yeah, makes a lot of sense to me.
