haha, I now wish I had an icon from 10 Things I Hate About You with the "lookitme, lookitme, lookitme!" caption on it. :p
And I know what you mean about the people who are spoiled because they don't get enough comments on their fic/art or whatever. I've got some dude on the flist who specifically says in his post that criticism is welcome, and then another friend of ours tells him that some little bit of whatever it is he happened to have posted could have been better or whatever, he gets touchy and his other friends repeatedly bash her and kiss his ass. Which, is really sad because that dude and the one friend and I have been friends for five years and he's still like that. I don't even look at his stuff or read his fic anymore, I've gotten so sick of it. Especially when his army of flamers grovel at his feet and it's not even that good. False hope anyone? The only time I ever read fic anymore is if someone specifically asks me to. :/
