I feel so bogged down by everything. I always think to myself, "is this really worth all this stress?" And I always come up with the answer "no."

I got back from my one-day trip to Berkley yesterday. My cousins showed me around. I have always been vaguely intimidated by them and their coolness, but I actually had a pretty good time hanging out with them.

Rachel was trying to validate her decision to be in a Berkley sorority, and she was saying that the Berkley sororities aren't like your stereotypical sororities, but it sure didn't seem that way to me. She showed me her house, and as she was showing me around to her other "sisters" they were all saying how cute it was that we were cousins and blah blah blah...we are overly-nice, blond, californian girls bla bla bleee... It seemed preeeeety stereotypical to me.

I was proud of myself because I figured out which subway I had to take to get from San Francisco to Berkley all by myself. I had to switch and everything. Whoo!

When I was waiting for the subway, however, I had a disturbing thought that I guess I won't disclose for the world to see and judge, but it bothered me.

Today, after school, Hadley came over to do some of the loads upon loads of homework Ms. Bernstein assigns. The more I think about Ms. Bernstein, the more I dislike her. It really bothers me when people are so gruff. hurrump. She makes me mad.

bah!
