Tessie had an appointment today so after class she and my mom picked me and Becky up at our apartment and we went to Chipotle. No one wanted to go in so they all stayed in the car while I got burritos for me and my mother. When I walked in guess who I see? TORSTEN. Sitting by himself. I wanted to go sit by him but then he got up and left. :(
Anyway, I got out of French like twenty minutes early today so I went to talk to Hélène because she told me to go see her sometime this month to talk about me studying abroad and what I need to know about living with a family. I fucking love that woman. She is the sweetest lady in the whole world. She told me that I am delightful and that even though I am shy I need to talk talk talk to my host family and other Frenchies and really just put myself out there, because I know how to speak French, I just need to use it. :) I asked her what to do about the eating situation since I'm kind of a picky eater and she told me that I might have to just force myself to eat stuff I don't like, but if they make something I actually do like to just rave and go on about how good it is. She was like, "If someone was living with me and they complimented my cooking, I'd remember them. In my head, and my heart." Haha. She's just a freaking peach. I wish I could've stayed and talked to her alll day but I had to go to German. Haha. Ahh.
