(no subject)
The Pistons lost in dramatic fashion, which happened to be in opposition to my prediction from the previous night. Luckily, it still made for quite an exciting game and Wyatt, Josh and I were awesome commentary if I do say so myself. And I do.
Got my paycheck today and it included the $52 that they had already withdrawn previously. Boy was that nice. Especially since I just mailed in a bill today. Money in the bank, as they say, or at least it would be if I was not working.
PM desk has been interesting today. It has actually been as stressful as it could be, which really isn't saying that much in all honesty. We have something like 7 different clients on campus this weekend, adding up to about 800 people. I'm not really looking forward to being on call tomorrow. But hopefully it will be better than today, because poor Natalie had a craptacular day full of people being jerks. Clients that is, not staff, because we rule plain and simple.
I walked to the library today after my run, both of which were refreshing. Technically I walked there to pay my fine of 20 cents, but that seemed sort of dumb to walk the entire way only for that, so I borrowed Righteous Victims by Benny Morris, which is a history of the Zionist-Arab conflict for the past 120 years or so. I somewhat plan on switching into the Middle Eastern history course for next semester, so it would be nice to get my 1000 pages of outside reading done or at least started this summer.
And that's about all I've got at the moment. Other than me being devious and printing personal things on the desk computer all day because my printer is out of commission for the time being. I'm so tricky.
