well,
i have been realizing more and more that aside from my class schedule, my life has little to no structure. i kind of eat whenever i have the time, or once at the mercy of stomach pain. being at school and being in my apartment is determined by too many factors to warrant any stability. my sleep patterns aren't patterns at all, i just pass out as needed and wake up in time to continue runningrunningrunning.

for example:
today i got home at 5:00 from seeing the invention of lying,
(it wasn't what i expected at all, kind of disappointing to be honest)
marched straight upstairs to bed,
woke up at around midnight,
took myself a hot shower,
and now i am sitting with a bowl of green beans, about to dig into my homework, which i am sure will occupy my time until class at 12:30, after which i will probably come home and take a nap before class again at 7:00.

comparing the consistent daily regiment of elementary/middle/high school to my formless blob of a routine now is funny. i wonder if i would have even been able to comprehend a life without structure back then.

also,
fall weather is setting in,
which is nice for sweater wearing,
but my room is getting more frigid by the day.
i've started implicating a few college-budget methods of insulating it.
i covered the slats in my door with a sheet of shower curtain plastic and am going to saran wrap my window as soon as possible. or maybe i will try to get my parents to buy me a legitimate window insulating kit while in west palm.
as far as warming it up goes, i am afraid of a space heater jacking up our energy bill, so i think that i am going to try to up the temperature in my room by just lighting like twelve candles whenever i am in there. it's cost effective, a step up in the overall scent of my room, and actually seems to make a noticeable difference so far. plus, i don't need to use actual lighting as much (holler at conservation of energy).
although,
i'm not sure if i should worry about carbon dioxide emissions.

home this thursday afternoon.

man.

there is so much to do between now and then!
