Our house, in the middle of 5th street
So my friends decided, rather suddenly, that we're going to live off campus. After finding 2 just off perfect places, we've been forced to narrow it down to one.
The first apartment was above the Bull Run in L'burg. I didn't mind the idea, but apparently some parents object STRENUOUSLY to their children living above a bar. I don't know what my mother would have thought, since the idea died before I called her. She probably would have the same inane worries about "safety," that she does about the other house.
Ok, inane is a bad word. Legit, but annoying worry? I suppose that works better. I mean, it's Lewisburg. Lewisburg. They have a winter carnival, with ice sculpting. They have a parade for our basketball team. Lewisburg.
So, that apartment, with 4 rooms and pretty cool location, got nixed.
The other locale is PERFECT except for the number of rooms. But that's been rectified. So, if we get parental clearance, and I get approved to live off campus, we'll probably be living there. It's got 3 bedrooms, WASHER AND DRYER, they'll sell us a bunch of furniture. It has a screened in balcony off one of the bedrooms, and a backyard. And it's not *too* far from campus. We know some of the chicks living there now, and they love it there. I think it's gonna be good times.
I might move in this summer, since I'll be here. All summer. Here. Working in the Weis Center. Being an AV geek.
