Sam can see it so clearly in his head. Him and Dean together again, kicking ass and taking crap from no one. Shoddy motels, seedy bars, artery-clogging food … He wants it. He knows Dean wants it, too.
But Dean won’t admit it, the stubborn bastard. Every time Sam offers him all of this and more, Dean says no. And Sam puts him right back up on those meat hooks.
One day, hell will break Dean enough to say yes. Sam just has to be patient.
One day, Dean will come with him, and together, they’ll watch the world burn.
