Quit. Quit quit quit.

There was strangely no satisfaction in quitting Kohls.  Mostly, it was just intense relief.  Because every minute I was there made me want to kill myself a little more.

So I tried to quit on Monday evening.  My manager wasn't there, so I had to wait.  So I tried to quit on Tuesday.  Got in early and everything.  But my manager wasn't there.  I'm not sure she ever comes in.  So, very upset, I asked Melrose who I should resign to.  She got very upset that I was leaving, but was very helpful.

So, four hours into my eight hour shift, my mom drove over a letter of resignation that I gave to Lisa, the on-call manager.  She asked me if I was unhappy.  I said YES.  She asked if I wanted to talk about it.  I said no.  I wanted to say "You hired me in early June.  It's August now, and I've worked four days.  You trained me in Childrens and then put me to work in Intimates.  You promised me daytime hours, and most of my hours have been evening or night.  And they're just gonna pay me almost twice what you are."

I'm not working at the Shady Grove Vision and Eye Care Center (or something like that).  I wear purple scrubs.  I look really cute in purple scrubs.
