Administrative Professionals Day
Haha, I forget about this "special day" every year, but my boss and coworkers are awesome! My boss is out of town for a conference but she left a funny card with the nicest message and a really awesome black, 3rd logo Kings playoff tshirt!!! Then, today, one of the administrators gave me a card and some chocolates. This afternoon I'm working at my desk and I hear my cube neighbor say, "Mel, I need your help with something." so I walk over to the area we've nicknamed the AP Cafe and everybody's over there with one of those giant ass chocolate Costco cakes and ice cream. They all passed around a card too. It was very sweet. The card was filled with many comments about my baked goods and their appreciation that I organize a birthday breakfast every month. Haha. I so fit right in with all the finance folks since we love to eat. My boss has told me to set aside a day next week too so we can go to lunch. Fun times! Even the guy who just signed his name in the card for the person who is leaving tomorrow to move out of state wrote "thank you" in my card before signing it. LOL.
