So I just took a good look at my finances and I've decided that vacationing in London isn't really a reasonable option this year. So I'll be going back to New York instead. Only I think I might treat myself to a plane ticket this time, now that I'll actually have a valid passport by then (knock wood). I'm undecided still. On the one hand, flying costs about twice as much, and the 11-hour bus ride has kind of become a necessary staple of my various New York adventures. On the other hand, it eliminates about 20 hours of traveling time. That's almost a whole day. And the bus is more flexible, and more environmentally responsible. I guess I'll decide later.
