I went out today to find a quiet place to sit and work on my script and was surprised by how many places weren't closed for Family Day, Ontario's new godawfully-named mid-February holiday. (Although on the way home I did see a big sign in a store window that said "Family Day is made possible by: SEX!" which made me giggle.)

So I spent most of the day writing in the Hart House library. Hart House is awesome. First of all, it's like walking around Hogwarts (they have a map room!), and the place is full of beautiful little nooks you can sit in and work without being bothered. The library is full of large leather chairs, and I sat in one that faced the window, where the radiators belched out heat so cozily that I just took off my sweater and boots and curled up in the chair. I've spent time writing in other libraries on the U of T campus, but this is a new favourite.

Less than a week to the show. A million things to do still.
