The rose is fully blown and gorgeous.

I have a doctor's note that will hopefully *fingers crossed* keep centrelink off my back for at least four weeks.

I have two job interviews next week, one for Subway, one for Bunnings warehouse.

My grandad is in hospital with encephalitis, and my mother only thought to inform me two days after he was admitted.

I've been surviving lately on coffee.

I just finished The House of The Spirits by Isabel Allende again. I'm now on to a book called The Shimmering Door edited by Katherine Kerr, a book of short stories about magic and spiritulism written by a heap of different authors. I love my cheap, second hand finds. The House of The Spirits cost me $3AU, The Shimmering Door cost me $2AU.

Due to the weird weather, the other day our car got coated in red desert dust from way inland. Of course, this was less than a day after we washed the car for the first time in well over a year.

The other day we watched When Night Is Falling, a Canadian film. A bit offbeat and unusual, but it's worth it just to see the amazing trapeze twins. Oh, and the pretty two leads. :o)

My computer just popped up a weird error, so I'm going to post this before I lose it.

peeves, family, computer, books, garden, centrelink
