(no subject)
Last night was without a doubt the greatest night of my life. a few days ago me and jenna found this thing on Stellas website about a free show in the city, where they would show the premier of Stella a day early, wet hot american summer, and have a Q and A session with Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain. so yesterday jenna and i headed into the city around 4 and played some intense card games on the train. when we got to grand central, we quickly grabbed some food and found a cab to take us to the anthology film archives. when we got there were upset to find that the line for tickets was HUGE, because the show was free and you couldnt buy tickets in advance. so we stook in the rain for like 20 minutes and they let a bunch of people in to buy tickets but they stopped the line ahead of us. they said they would have to wait an hour to see how many more people could come in. so we stood around for another hour and made some friends, and when the guy came out he said they were taking in 30 more people so hes counting off and letting people in and he gets to jenna and i and were numbers 29 and 30!!!! last people let in! we got pretty good seats on the side and made friends with the man behind us, who thought we were 23 haha. as were waiting for the show to start we hear theyre giving out free beer so i took my ID and went to get some thinking they would laugh in my face because i look 16, but when i went up they didnt even card me and we got the last 2 beers! after that jenna went to get the free DVD and guess what? we got the last one! so summery...last seats, last beers, last DVD. we kicked some ass.
we watched the Stella episode thats going to be on tonight, and i wont ruin it for everyone else, but it was fucking funny! so good, the same kind of humor as wet hot, and they even added a wet hot joke for the loyal fans. then they showed wet hot and it was so fun to watch it with 100 other people and it was good as usual. then Michael Ian Black, Michael Showalter, and David Wain came out and did a question and answer session, and they are just as funny live. absolutely amazing. and after they were done me and jenna ran up and got the first picture with them! after the greatest show ever, we headed over to grandparents house to sleep for the night and they took us out for a second dinner. we slept on the couches and woke up the next morning with no hot water haha. for breakfast/lunch we went to white castle! (not in harlem this time haha) we had some dank burgers but felt like throwing up after, obviously not the best choice for morning food. now im home and i finally uploaded the tons of pictures i had on my camera so go look at them(http://community.webshots.com/user/lilylawrence)
