(no subject)
hey kids. marissa woke me up at 1030 so im hanging out watching fairly odd parents. so friday me and mommy headed off to ohio and we spend more time in the airport waiting around then actually flying there haha. the plane ride is only an hour and 15 minutes or so. so when we got there we rented a car and headed to our hotel and watched austin powers. saturday morning i woke up early and went to see oberlin. i definitely liked the school, but the town around it was kinda lame, and to get somewhere cool is like a 45 minute drive. but the best part was during hte information session there was a girl sitting near me who i recognized but i couldnt figure out from where, and it turns out we were in the same third grade class in my elementary school in nyc. haha that was awesome and she goes to school with a whole bunch of other kids from my elementary school who i was friends with, and colbys camp friend anna.
so afer that me and my mom drove to cleveland and went to see the rock and roll hall of fame! it was sooooo cool. there were all these exhibits on random stuff including a movie on the making of the who's tommy. then the best part was there was a whole section with peoples actual outfits from music videos and performances and i successfully guessed every 90's outfit correctly, including the nsync outfits from its gonna be me, backstreet boy outfits from larger than life, britney spears outfit from baby one more time and oops i did it again, and other stuff like that haha. i am the 90's master! so after that we went back to the airport and came home. i picked up jenna from the train station and we went to her friends house in weston and hung out with some kids and wstched the emporers new groove, a quality fiml.
today i have to finish my english exploratory essay because my power went out on thursday so i couldnt write the whole thing. then im having a book group meeting with julie and marissa at chefs table haha. that should be fun. before i go i have the best story from latin!
I came into class like 5 minutes late on friday and sullivan still wasnt there. everyone in the class raced over to me and was like "our final author papers are due today!" so of course i started flipping out because he never told us that, and brad was like, "he told us right before vacation so theres nothing we can do, and he posted it last night at midnight" so now i start freaking out even more, so when he walks in im like, mr sullivan my power went out blah blah blah. and hes like, ok thats nice lily. so now im even more pissed. then finally im like he cant fucking do this! and clayton said, "haha were just kidding we got you so bad" well that was not funny, i almost cursed out sullivan and im mad at my entire latin class, those assholes.
