Lego Star Wars and Lego Hobbitses

My obsession with Lego continues. The other day I bought a Lego Star Wars set. It was the Desert Skiff set with Luke Skywalker, Boba Fett, Lando Calrissian in his palace guard disguise and a skiff guard. It also includes the Sarlacc Pit, so it can nom on unfortunate bounty hunters.

I looked on Amazon for individual figures to complete my Avengers collection, but they were stupidly expensive. I decided to take a look for some individual figures to go with the desert skiff set. Fortunately, they were much more reasonably priced. Han Solo, Princess Leia in her slave costume and Chewbacca. Now I can recreate the scene from Return of the Jedi. I'm going to buy the Droid Escape set so I can have R2-D2 and C-3PO as well. Plus, Stormtroopers. Yay!

I'm not all that bothered about Lego Lord of the Rings, but I saw one set that interested me. I thought I could use the Shelob Attacks set for some more Lego Avengers pics. I don't care about the Lord of the Rings figures, I only want the giant spider. The idea that I had was of Loki conjuring said giant spider and the Avengers fighting it.

Seeing that I have Lego Captain America now, I thought of recreating another one of my favourite moments from the Avengers movie. YOU WANT ME TO PUT THE HAMMER DOWN?? I'm going to use one of the clear columns from the Desert Skiff set to give the illusion of Thor flying.

I also had an idea to create a Lego version of Agent Coulson. I have a spare Lex Luthor figure (that came free with Lego Batman 2). All I need to do is switch the head with that of a generic male figure and I'm set. I can even have a ready-made big gun for Coulson to use.
