Tom Hardy and Chris Pine play Tuck and FDR, two CIA agents and best friends, who accidentally fall in love with the same woman, the lonely Lauren (played with Reese Witherspoon). The two friends soon find out that they are dating the same woman. They offer to break it off because they don't want it to ruin their friendship, and it soon becomes a competition to see who Lauren will choose. There's also the matter of a bad guy who's brother the two agents killed and is out for revenge.

This movie has something for everybody. It has plenty of action and explosions for the guys and romance for the girls. It's amazing to see Tom Hardy playing a lovable lug. It's miles away from his role as Bane in the new Batman movie. Chris Pine is a lovable lech, which isn't too far from his role as Captain Kirk in the Star Trek reboot. Reese Witherspoon is sweet as always.

There's eye candy enough for everybody too. There's Chris Pine with his shirt off for the ladies and Reese Witherspoon is her undies for the fellows.

There's plenty to laugh at too. Tuck has to pretend to be drunk to catch some bad guys, and it is hilarious. Oh, he also gets accidentally shot in the groin while paint balling with Lauren. FDR gets a tranquilizer dart (courtesy of Tuck) in the neck after bringing Lauren home and promptly falls asleep. People being hit in the groin and being tranquilized are always funny.

All in all an enjoyable funny movie with something for everyone.

Next time: King Ralph. John Goodman becomes king and falls in love with a stripper played by Rose Tyler's mother.
