i worked at the Met! i had so much fun! i was working with Betsy (Liz's mom) at the ice cream stand! it was a lot of fun! i couldnt quit talking!! i got at the Met around 4:20 or 4:30 and i stayed there till 11:05. we were the first ones there and the next to last ones to leave. for some reason, pelham is always the last stand to leave. i think its because we clean up more and triple count the money and remaining food, and most people just count once, clean the counters and leave. we clean the counters, mop the floor5s several time, organize the cabinets and such, and just make sure the place is nice and clean!
me and beth and our families are gonna go to see War of the Worlds tomorrow! i cant wait! people in the 30s and 40s used to listen to the radio show and would believe that there were really aliens attacking the earth, so they would jump off building and do stuff like that b/c they were afraid of the aliens! talk about MORONS! lol..
i had a lot of fun today! all band people should work at the Met! its really fun! especially ice cream! but thats just because theres more moving air back there and u get to stand over the freezer a lot, so it really cool over there, unlike serving drinks and stuff b/c there is like noooo moving air!
