Is 1 AM too late for ice cream? probably...

So, I haven't posted in like, a year. But I am here. After near-death experiences in Paris last summer (for reals, yo) and a variety of crazy ailments, I thought I should say hellllllo!

What have I been doing? Heck if I know. BUT I am in Melbourne until Thursday early AM and then it's time for the 12 hour drive of fun back to Durham. I'll be working at the ethics institute at Duke all summer. I move into my apartment on Monday, so I'll be staying with the bf for the weekend. Coincidentally, it is our one year anniversary this weekend, so that should be fun! That or, since his idea of romance is basically non-existent, it will at least be nice to see him. Bah.

Taking a practice LSAT Saturday morning. Will be embarrassed not to finish in the alloted time. Will score poorly.

Taking the LSAT for real in October and I'm already freaking out. Though I did figure out my life plan the other day. It involves a joint degree program so I can get my JD/MA at the same time. Then on to my exciting career of international human right law! Or something.

Also, I decided to write an honor's thesis. Has anyone else started this yet? Have I screwed myself over? It's part of the process (along with several other things) to graduate with honors. I'm pretty psyched about my topic (int'l law as it applies to international intervention for humanitarian purposes - though that's way way way broader than it will be in the end), but I'm still nervous. I've never gone through a process quite like this before. Any suggestions from people who're working on theirs?

Perhaps most exciting of all though, was that today, I went to IKEA for the first time! It was like a small country! My dad took me and we mostly went just to look around for the experience, though he's been before, but man - that store is crazy. I bought Tupperware for 1.99 (5 stackable bowls).

Hopefully I'll post again before 2010. I'm not sure history is on my side.

Good times and noodle salad.
