I am here in SJ now. hello. I missed you too. my dad is very upset, but he isnt saying anything. I miss Long Beach!!!
I started my job last week with the public works department in LB. my project is assessing and rating every block of every street in Long Beach. based on the pavement condition. I love it! I drive this Camray that says "Long Beach City on the side with the little picture of the high rise buildings and the wave, and I just wander around the city with my orange vest and my clipboard, counting the cracks on the road. I actually wrote my own assessment sheet on excell. so once I learn to use the measuring wheels and stuff, I will pretty much be in charge of this thing. not that it matters as long as I have a good boss. I told my boss before I started that I would be taking these two weeks off to visit my family. she said family comes before work any time. she also told me to take the EIT (an 8 hr standardized test covering every subject in engineering) so she could promote me to Jr. Engineer. maybe next semester.
oh yeah, and I turn 21 tomorrow. woohoo! party... with my parents. yeah, I cant drive the car because I am not insured, and I am not suppose to stay out past 10... or 11. I MISS LONG BEACH!!
